RED SQUARES BAND MEMBERS

 

David (Geordie) Garriock: Lead Vocals

Lives in Holbæk and has his own recording studio. He enjoys writing songs in his spare time, mostly for Red Squares, but also for other artists.

He has recently released a book on the English market, a thriller for all age groups. His hobbies are many but the mainly photography and skiing.

Howard Goldman (Howie Gee): Drums, Vocals 

He was with the band from the days in France 1964. Came to denmark in 1965.

He was on the first LP Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry etc. He left the band owing to Work Permit problems. He was educated as a musician in the British Army-Multi-Insrumentalist and Conductor (Dirigent) and was a music teacher for 16 years in a school.
 

Reformed Red Squares in 1988 with Geordie and still going strong.!

 

 

Leif Svorin: Keyboards, Vocals

Studied music at the University of Copenhagen and is a music teacher at the music schools of Helsingør and Roskilde.

He had his song “ENE” in the song contest “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1988” performed by his band at that time “SIRIUS”.

Leif played with the Danish rock´n-roll band
“SIR HENRY” first
in 1977-78 and later from 1989-2002.

He joined “RED SQUARES” in January 2003.

Johan Gerup: Guitar, Voca

Johan Gerup: Guitar, Vocals

lLives in Copenhagen with his wife – Linda - and works as a bricklayer.
He has two daughters and one son.
In the 80’s he had a band with his brother called Dieters Lieder,
mostly known for the song “Dig & Mig”.

 

 

 

B.C. Svanholt, Bass, Vocals

Birger lives in St. Havelse with his wife and 3 children.
He studied music at the University of Copenhagen, and later graduated from Fyn Academy of Music in singing & band-leading.
He has been singing and playing professionally since 1983 in various bands.
His hobby is collecting old records. He is interested in philosophy,
loves sunny weather & good food, and  tries to enjoy life as much as he can.
He joined the band in May 2004
